Diana Adams, MA Human Services Counseling

After spending just a few minutes in a room with Diana, it is easy to see one thing – she is for you. With a heart to come alongside others to support and encourage them towards shining their brightest light, Diana has the gift of truly seeing people and spurring them on to grow into the best versions of themselves. Diana is a big believer in setting big goals and dreaming big dreams but also celebrates baby steps and the seemingly “small” victories. Diana strives to see setbacks and obstacles as opportunities that can be overcome with the right mindset, intrapersonal tools, and support systems in place… and of course, an extra-large iced coffee couldn’t hurt.

Diana Adams (M.A.) has spent the last two decades working in classroom support roles. It was in these various roles Diana came to realize the importance of resilience, grit, and a well-stocked social-emotional toolkit to equip kids with the interpersonal skills needed to successfully navigate adolescence in today’s world. Motivated by the clear calling to play an active, firsthand role in helping equip students with these interpersonal and intrapersonal skills, Diana returned to school in 2020 to complete her undergraduate degree in psychology and subsequently her Master’s in Human Services Counseling.

Diana has been supporting our practice since she joined our team 2021 as True North’s Director of Client and Community Connections, a role she joyfully balances with being Mom to her three school-aged children and a wife to her husband of 13 years. In her free time Diana enjoys trying out new hobbies (Triathlon! Ceramics! Bottle Collecting! Oh my!), organizing neighborhood hangs to celebrate any and every holiday, and finding any excuse to compliment strangers.

We are excited to share that Diana will be adding to her current position an exciting new role as a Wellness Coach, offering adolescent and young adult clients both individual coaching and small group coaching. Coming soon, Diana will be leading Club IRL, an in-person weekly small group dedicated specifically to developing the psychological, social, and emotional tools to support her client’s overall success and wellness. If you think either individual coaching or Club IRL would be a good fit for you or your adolescent, you are ONE CLICK AWAY from scheduling!
